Hotel Smeraldo Rome

Stayed at a hotel between the Colosseum and Vatican. The breakfast was SUPERB! Would choose it again. Photos don't do justice to the lovely room.

The cozy room, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast made for a wonderful experience. While the rooftop bar was lovely, I wished for more beverage options. Despite a small room change, I can't wait to return.

I simply adored the ultra contemporary artwork and sculptures that adorned the common areas of the hotel. The sleek and modern decor, along with the abundance of natural light, created a warm and inviting atmosphere that made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with basic wooden furniture, plain white walls, and black and gray cushions that made it easy to navigate around the general areas.

The only thing I would ask for is more grab bars and wheelchair accessibility in the bathroom for a better vacation experience for senior people.
